Each year Crime Watch sponsors a Poster Contest through the Recreation Department and Sterling House Community Center. This year the contest has been opened up to include all children in the town of Stratford ages 5 to 12. When the posters are completed entrants are asked to drop them off at Sterling House before July 31, 2009. Winners will be contacted and asked to appear at the National Night Out event on Tuesday August 4, 2009 at Pender's Field at Longbrook Park for presentation of their awards.
